What we do

Remodeling work we take on

  • Planning the layout

Deciding what moves and what stays before anything comes out.

  • Kitchens

Cabinets, counters and layout — the room that gets used the hardest.

  • Bathrooms

Small rooms where waterproofing and ventilation decide how long it lasts.

  • Complete interiors

Whole-house work when the finishes have all reached the same age.

Questions about remodeling

If your question is not here, call us and ask. We would rather explain it once properly.

Which room is worth doing first?

Kitchens and bathrooms, usually. They are used the most, they date the fastest, and they are the rooms buyers look at hardest. If something is leaking or unsafe, that comes first regardless.

What makes a bathroom last?

Waterproofing and ventilation, neither of which you see afterwards. A bathroom that looks beautiful but was not sealed and vented properly will show damp within a few years. It is the least glamorous part of the job and the part most worth doing right.

Can you work one room at a time?

Either. It mostly depends on whether you are living in the house while we work. We will plan it around what suits you rather than what suits our schedule.

How long is a kitchen out of use?

Three to five weeks for most projects. It takes longer if the floor plan changes, or if we have to cut into the concrete to reroute electrical and plumbing — so if that is likely on your job, we will say so before you plan around a date.

Do you handle plumbing and electrical?

Mechanical, plumbing and electrical are subcontracted. Everything else is usually done in house, depending on the size and scope of the job.

Can you repair storm damage inside?

Yes — interior work after a storm is part of what we do. The client review on this page is from a property owner whose units we remodeled after Hurricane Ian.

What does a remodel cost?

It depends on the size of the job, the materials you choose, and what we find once we look properly. Anyone who gives you a number before seeing the property is guessing. We come out, look, and give you a written price. The visit costs you nothing.

Do you work in my area?

We serve Cape Coral and Southwest Florida. If you are not sure whether you are in range, call 239-414-9100 and ask.
